Jens first achieved his real estate license in 1989 and joined the Venice Area Board of Realtors that same year. He has watched the Greater Venice, Englewood, Nokomis and North Port areas grow and prosper, He believes it is one of the best places to live. Jens Runyon first received his Real Estate license in 1989 (Realtor). Served on the Education Committee and Public Relations Committee in the Venice Area Board of Realtors. Received his Broker license in 1991(Realtor) and passed the State Certification Course in Appraising. He is a consistent Multi-Million dollar producer. He Joined the "John K Team" in 2001 where he contributed his Real Estate, Appraising, Computer, Marketing and Photography skill sets to good use.

Jens was Born in West Germany and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. He attended Marion Military Institute and received his High School diploma from McCallie Preparatory School in Chattanooga, Tenn. He later attended Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi where he earned his B.A. Degree in Computer Science. He was also the school photographer for both his High School and College.

Asked why he is in Real Estate, he cheerfully commented, It is a great feeling to be able to use my knowledge and talents to help others with their Real Estate needs. When our new residents come here to Venice, they can use a friend to acquaint them with the area and help them locate the home they are searching for.

Real Estate is not just selling and buying property. To me, it is a people business and I definitely enjoy working with people and making new friends.

When asked about why he took the classes for the appraising course, he said it is one that I felt I needed to take because our Clients do rely on our ability to estimate an accurate marketable sales price for their property and especially it is especially strategic in the Buying process.

One more thing that is very important to Jens is our friendly residents, quaint little town and all our beaches. It is one of the most important magnets that we have. We have just made an extensive renovation to the downtown area and we repair our beaches as needed, so that the residents and vacationers will have the best experience possible.
